Horsham Future Forum - bi-weekly networking of local people
Event Information
About this Event
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday every month at 7 – 8pm using Zoom, some weeks networking sharing ideas, events and action and other weeks with talks by Horsham groups or with a local focus.
The Horsham Future Forum will focus on the local community and how to build a new ‘normal’ - build back Horsham better, fairer and greener. We’d like to see if we can work together among action groups to create a bigger voice, support one another's' projects and drive change. It would be great if each session could be themed, and we encourage local groups to come forward and take the lead in these sessions, giving short talks on their area of special local interest and prompting relevant discussions and actions.
We also run the Horsham Youth Eco Forum which takes place every Sunday 6-7pm using Zoom. The Youth Eco Forum is guided by a young person Catherine who grew up in Horsham and is keen to create a space for local young environmentalists to meet, discuss and connect. So we are looking for young people 11+ to join us, to discuss worries, hopes and share ideas and actions. For more information young people can contact Catherine on YEF@SussexGreenLiving.co.uk.
