Training starts (venue subject to change):

Tuesday 3rd October 2017 and is part-time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

This is followed by a full-time, 2 week work placement, available in all areas of hospitality and finishes with a guaranteed interview with the chance of employment.

A programme for young people (18-30) who are unemployed, not in education or training (NEET) and may have had barriers to employment.

This inspiring programme provides young people with a range of skills to support them into a career within one of our employer partners which include: Accor, Hilton, Park Plaza, Premier Inn, Premier Inn Hub, Novotel, Ibis, Gather and Gather and BaxterStorey contract caterers.

The programme has 5 week’s training (part-time, 3 days a week) which includes:

Workshops: Skills based learning which includes Customer Service training, Food and Beverage practice sessions and personal grooming. Interview techniques and practice sessions are paramount throughout the course to instil confidence and belief. Barclays Bank/Royal Bank of Scotland will attend to deliver confidence building and the art of being professional. Accor will deliver training on aspects such as professional dress, team building. Premier Inn will train on time management, work principles, CV advice.

Qualifications:

Health and Safety (Level 2) (Certified)

Food Safety (Level 2) (Certified)

World Host Customer Service Training (Certified)

Barista (The art of making Coffee) Training (BaxterStorey Certified)

Industry visits: A visit to the Emirates stadium – a tour of the club and a chance to see the world of contract catering via Delaware North. A visit to 2 Private Members Club along London’s Pall Mall to discover why the likes of the Queen and our Royal family attend and indeed become members. Alongside this, we have tours of various hotels, fine dining restaurants, where candidates can see the world of hospitality for themselves and ask industry professionals any questions they may have.
