This will be a night full of raw, undiluted Rock 'n' Roll & Rockabilly, letting you rock out and go crazy on the dance floor! We have lined up three of the best bands the genre has to offer! We guarantee all the guitar solos, slap bass and drum fills any Rock’a’Roll fanatic could dream of!

DJ Rock Ape will keep the energy going in between the sets and will run off the night with a mix of pure, unadulterated, rockin’ goodness!

Hot Boogie Chillun (Germany)

If raw, authentic and undiluted Rock’n’Roll is your thing, then you won’t be disappointed by the powerful sound of this legendary trio from the south of Germany. The guys from Hot Boogie Chillun delivers their own handmade mix of rockabilly, blues, and 60s rock, spiced up with a touch of high-powered underground trash. Based around frontman Sascha Vollmer ripping out blistering licks on the guitar with as much vigour as he commands percussion, keys and vocals. Backed up by the thumpin’ double bass courtesy of Micha Frick and the tight rhythms of Roberto Bangrazi behind the drums, Hot Boogie Chillun will without a doubt rock your socks off this night in Bristol!

Since 1992 the trio has build an enormous fanbase, not least thanks to their hugely popular 2005 cult album, 15 Reasons to Rock’n’Roll, which has recently been remastered. Their hard-rockin’ sound and ability never to slow down, has taken Hot Boogie Chillun around the world. Now they are ready to take on the good people of Bristol, and we are ecstatic to say that they are still at the top of their game!

The Runawayz (England)

Since 2015 this energetic young rockin' trio has delivered one of the most potent retro rockabilly sounds across the UK. What started as a group of teenage friends being absolutely fanatical about 1950s Rock’n’Roll, has turned into a group of rockers laying down crowd after crowd and stage after stage across Europe. Their driven, powerful sound has gained them a persistent fan following all around the UK and Europe. The Runawayz are establishing themselves as one of the most popular bands on the British and European Rockin’ scene. Their High Octane Rockin’ sound is forever progressing forward, and the trio keeps mixing great classic rockabilly with their own fresh material. A night with THE RUNAWAYZ is always a night to remember!

The Rhythm Slicks (Wales)

Bring your dancing shoes as The Rhythm Slicks will deliver the soundtrack for you to get wild and dance to! This four-piece rockabilly band plays a potent, high-energy mix of hard edge rockabilly and jumping Rock’n’Roll that will drag you out of your seat. The dual guitars deliver a broad, wild rockabilly sound, with plenty of licks and riffs for any Rock’n’Roll fanatic to be satisfied. On a foundation of tight drum work and percussive slap bass, the quartet builds an intense rockin’ sound that shakes the stages and audiences in front of them everywhere they go. If you are into rockabilly in its rawest, most energy fuelled form, you have to experience one of the best bands South Wales has to offer!
