Event description
At this Hot Coffee, Hot Topic we will explore how the menopause affects colleagues at work

About this Event

Thanks for your interest in taking part in this Hot Coffee, Hot Topic session.

This session will take place on Tuesday 22 October from 8:00am until 9:15am in the Conference Hall, City Hall, Bristol BS1 5TR.

On 18 October people across the UK will celebrate Menopause Awareness Day. In support of this national event, this session has been designed to explore how the menopause affects colleagues at work and what steps Bristol City Council can take to address any barriers.

At this event, we will explore the results of the recent Trade Union project work on menopause carried out with employee groups across BCC and hear from Dr Vanessa Beck, University of Bristol, on the national research findings.

This session will be an opportunity to discuss your views on what would enable BCC to continually improve its workplace support for women experiencing symptoms of the menopause.

Book your ticket now to be a part of the discussion. You don’t need to work in an area with links to the topic to attend; Hot Coffee, Hot Topic sessions are relaxed and informal and give any colleague an opportunity to be part of an interesting discussion.

Whoever you are any whatever your role, you are welcome to join us.

Please contact mayor@bristol.gov.uk to let us know if you have any access requirements.
