Where to park?

We advice you to leave the car at home because there are only one or two spaces in front of the Church. Please come along on foot, by bike or public transport, or be dropped off, if you can.

Question 2

What can I bring? What should I NOT bring?

Feel free to bring ONE item from home that has a fault, such as small appliances, bikes, clothing or devices. Please do not bring anything that uses explosive fuels or might explode (petrol/diesel-driven items, or e-bikes and e-scooters). For clothing, we will not do alterations (fittings).

How long should I expect to wait?

Please be patient. We will see you in the order you booked your place, or walked in. Some items are more difficult to check and fix. Sometimes, a spare part is needed. We will let you know which spare to buy. We will ask you to bring the item back with the spare to next month's event.

Question 4

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Please bring the item you want to be checked and fixed. Please bring any adapter, charger, power supply, remote control, batteries, bulbs, buttons, zips, or other spares needed to see what the problem is and if a fix has worked. If you have a manual or a receipt, that would also help us help you.

How much do we pay?

The checks, the repairs and the refreshments are FREE to you. However, we would appreciate any Tips you can afford to give by cash or card. This covers some of our team's costs. Thank you.

Question 6

What if I book and then can't come along?

Accepted Answer

Please let us know as soon as you know you cannot join us. We can then give your place to someone on the Waiting List. If you do not let us know and you then book  a future visit, we expect you will kindly leave us a Tip in recognition of the place that had been reserved for you.
