Description
This half-day training session will teach you the principles of marketing and how to apply them to the arts. It will cover design and print, copywriting, content creation and social media. It is suited to artists or companies with experience of putting on work in professional venues that want to improve their knowledge and practice.
Nadia Niesterowicz-Newstead is an arts marketer with experience of working with both artists and venues from the UK and beyond. Teaching artists and companies about how to market themselves and their art and work 'smarter not harder' is her jam and she has led workshops all over the country. She is currently Marketing and Communications Manager at the Albany in Deptford, London.

This session will take place in The Gallery at The Curve. The Curve is fully accessible. The building has Slough first Adult Changing Place.

Travel
The Curve is located approximately a five minute walk from Slough rail station.
Please note there is no on-site car parking available at The Curve. Public car parks nearby include Queensmere, Burlington, Herschel and Buckingham Gardens, parking here will be charged at the usual rate.
The Curve has one disabled parking space. If visitors attending wish to use the onsite disabled bay and it is available, please contact the onsite Facilities Officer to arrange access on 07850 067119.
There are designated disabled parking spaces nearby: on the High Street, outside MyCouncil and High Street West (opposite where the old library used to be). Unlimited parking is permitted in Pay & Display bays.
