Build on your knowledge, skills and confidence to enable you to prepare and present information in county court proceedings for possession of assured shorthold tenancy (AST).

 

Who is this course for?

Frontline supported housing staff and managers who are responsible for taking tenancy possession action.  It is advisable that participants have a good knowledge of tenure issues.

What will you learn?

At the end of this course you will understand:

  • How to prepare court documentation in line with Civil Procedure Rules.
  • How to prepare and present a case in court.
  • Possible court outcomes.
  • Possible post hearing action.
  • Good practice in managing possession.
