Event description

Description

This event is for Nottinghamshire County Council employees

FutureGov are supporting Nottinghamshire County Council to plan for its future, build capability and prototype services that meet user needs. We are running a series of lunchtime sessions (bring your lunch with you) to explore all things digital, design and government. We would love you to join us.

Through the series we'll be discussing, debating and passing on the techniques & tools we have used elsewhere. We also want to hear what colleagues in Nottinghamshire have been reading, thinking and doing - to help shape what comes next for the county.

At this session FutureGov will be talking about managing projects in an agile and iterative way. Agile methods encourage teams to build quickly, test what they’ve built and iterate their work based on regular feedback. Agile started as a way to manage software projects, but is now used much more widely - including in government.

These sessions will aim to equip colleagues to discuss, debate and develop ways of delivering services for residents, and help bust a few myths along the way.
