Event description

Description

The circular economy is a concept that captures the practice of moving from the linear economy to recycling, repairing, reusing and remanufacturing. This event showcases how business is capturing value from the circular economy by selling "wastes" or using available resources.

Business professionals and academics will be able to hear from researchers who have been engaging with business on capturing current circular economy practice. They will showcase work that illustrates the advances businesses have made in adopting new business processes, innovating new technology and changing the relationships between them and their customers. The researchers will combine this with close to market advances that show a glimpse of what will be happening within the next five years.

In an interactive session discuss the issues your business faces and see if there is a solution!

This event forms part of Green Great Britain Week which consists of a series of events and activities to encourage government, businesses, academia and civil society to come together to explore how clean growth will change our futures and how we can contribute to action on climate change.
