- According to Engineering UK, there were 936,000 women working in engineering roles in 2021, equating to just 16.5% of the total engineering workforce
- The Royal Academy of Engineering that revealed that 57 per cent of female engineers drop off the register of professional engineers by the age of 35, compared to just 17 per cent of their male counterparts
