How can neuro-biological models help us understand adolescent depression?

This seminar is the first in a series of three. The Seminar Series focus on Adolescent Depression, organised in collaboration between The University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow and University of Reading.
The overarching objectives of the seminar series are to advance theoretical understanding of adolescent depression, and discuss the implications on developing more effective evidence based interventions and preventative strategies.
In this first seminar the focus will be on neuro-biological models of adolescent depression, we are delighted to have the following speakers:
Prof. Rebecca Reynolds, University of Edinburgh, on the role of cortisol in depression
Prof. Stephany Biello, University of Glasgow, on sleep research
Dr. Ciara McCabe, University of Reading, on neuroimaging findings
The seminar will also feature short PhD presentations
Light refreshment will be served.
