Think Global is a partner of a Europe-wide project called Susy which seeks to map and raise awareness about "social and solidarity economy" (SSE) as an alternative economic model which can work positively towards poverty alleviation.
This workshop aims to initiate conversations between social enterprise and not-for-profit organisations about the role social entrepreneurship can play in empowering communities and creating sustainable livelihoods - both within and beyond the UK. We are excited to be working with the Cathedral Innovation Centre to deliver this event!
This event is for social enterprises, co-operatives, ethical businesses, charities and non-governmental organisations operating within and from the South East of England. Anyone who wants to learn more about how such organisations can work collaboratively towards positive social change!
- Network with other organisations to share best practice, and to find new and innovative solutions to poverty alleviation!
- Learn from social enterprise initiatives undertaken across South East England and beyond - what are the keys to success?
- Explore the concept of SSE - what potential impact could it have? What opportunities does it present for your organisation?
The day will be interactive, with input from speakers from across the social enterprise and NGO sector. A free lunch and refreshments will be provided!
