The Guild of One-Name Studies was established in 1979.
Have you ever considered the value of a one-name study for family history research? The Guild has more than 8,000 registered surnames that are being researched. Help is available to the general public, and there are additional benefits for Guild members.

Margaret Southgate has been Guild member since 2008, researching the surname CLOSE and variants. She is the Guild’s representative for South and West Wales.
