The National Network for Parents & Carers in Higher Education invites to this event about the importance of supporting staff members and their families who have experienced miscarriage and/or stillbirth.

What will be discussed?

There are three distinctive elements to the session:

identifying the need to create safe spaces for an otherwise difficult conversation about grief and loss
sharing best practice by hearing the lived experience of colleagues who have benefitted from support provisions in place
considering HR policies that embed leave provision, emotional support, time off, etc. in cases of pregnancy loss
