Have ever wondered what is a collection at risk?

Do you want to know the different risks collections face and how you can take simple steps to protect them?

Join Dr Justine Reilly and our panel of speakers drawn from across the sporting heritage sector as they discuss how we can identify when a collection is at risk and the actions, networks and resources available to support you and safeguard your collections.

This first part of this webinar will be a discussion panel, then following a short break, we will return to open up the floor for a group discussion about working with collections that are at risk. Attendees can ask questions of our panellists and share their experiences of the risks which they face as custodians of sporting heritage.

Our panellists will be:

  • Dr Justine Reilly, Director, Sporting Heritage
  • Helena Smart, Sector Development Manager - National and Networks (Community Archives), The National Archives
  • Philip Gale, Head of Standards & Improvements, The National Archives
  • Kenneth McLean, Learning & Engagement Manager, The Jim Clark Motorsport Museum
  • Name tbc, Bramley Bath Heritage Project
