Spend an evening learning the secrets of how to make comics by the hand of comics laureate, Dave Gibbons, and comic book expert, Tim Pilcher. Gibbons and Pilcher have collaborated in the creation of a new book called How Comics Work. This book is a comics masterclass packed full of rare and upublished material from Dave's personal archive and it reveals insider tips on how his work was created.

Surrounded with real-life examples of Gibbons' original art at the Cartoon Museum, this evening's event will provide a unique, behind-the-scenes-perspective on the creative process.

This event is free, but there are limited spaces. You must reserve your spot to attend.

A cash bar will be available throughout the event and copies of the book can be purchased at the museum shop.
