After last years total success of Remembering John Prine, Get Shep have decided to celebrate another legendary songwriter who has inspired the songs of many other artists. Tony Villiers will take the stage with his band to sing and talk about the influence Bob Dylan has had on his life. Play us the bands own versions of Bob Dylan songs, and their onw classic tracks that have no doubt been inspired by heros like Dylan and Prine. THe band will be joined on the night by 2 special guests. John McCullough (Van Morrison, The Waterboys, Andrew Strong to name a few) will be adding is wizardy to the live setup on the gig adding those touchs like no one else can. Always an absolute treat for the listener. Chris Chalmers, frontman of Belfast 2:19 and admitted Dylan fanatic will be sharing his own takes on songs and with the band, and giving the audience and insight on how Dylan shaped his own writing. The whole night will be compered by BCC Radio DJ, and Atlantic Sessions supporter, Ralph McLean who will chat with the perfomers on the night and keep things flowing. This isnt just a night for the Bob Dylan fans, its a night for live music fans.
