Event description

Description

Keeping dogs injury free and fit to work is a team effort, involving owner, trainer, physio and vet. We invite you to join us for an evening run by Eleanor Clarke, ACPAT animal physiotherapist, Nikki Martin, owner of Dickson Dog training and Lindsay Brazil, veterinary surgeon and animal acupuncturist. This interactive workshop will use a live dog, painted with key anatomical regions to help demonstrate how dogs to move as athletes. We have been inspired to create this event as we all work with dogs involved in a wide range of athletic pastimes, including agility, flyball, obedience and dogs trained to work as gun dogs. We hope to demonstrate how dogs move and the importance of core strength and exercises which support this.

Lindsay, Nikki and Eleanor are not charging for their time for this event. All proceeds will go to Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue.

http://www.lurcher.org.uk .

We have not run the event before and have tried to keep the cost for attendees as low as possible. There will be a collection bucket avaialble on the night if anyone would like to make a further donation.
