We are delighted to confirm the experts who have volunteered to share their experience and results with you
With unemployment in the UK at its lowest since 1974 and salary offers increasing to attract talent, it is essential that businesses understand how employee engagement boosts staff retention.
We are delighted to confirm:
Philippa Smith – Senior Client Engagement Manager, Hays Human Resources. As with most businesses, one of Hays biggest assets are their people, investing in comprehensive training and career development is fundamental to Hays. As a business built on relationships, staff retention is critical to growing this business. After looking at their employee journey, Hays found that a large proportion of staff that go on maternity leave don’t return. Join Philippa as she explores the journey that Hays are embarking on to retain this highly valued talent. Furthermore, understand how this engagement strategy can extend to other life changing circumstances, such as primary carers and the long-term sick. You will then have an opportunity to share your organisations experiences and challenges around the table.
Pat Hutchinson, Quadrant1, will share her insights from the work that she been involved in using the Harrison Assessments Talent Solutions. This report offers a way to capture reliable retention and engagement data without the need for anonymity because the questions asked are in relation to working preferences and wants. The data can be gathered for an individual, team, department or the whole organisation. This methodology gives employers an opportunity to make retention and reward decisions based on the real expectations of employees. These expectations are measured under the following headings: Development, Remuneration, Authority, Social, Appreciation; Communication; Personal; Work Life Balance.
Pat has generously offered a complimentary report to 20 people attending this session.
Tim Conroy, Winningtemp will share insights and examples of how companies are using new technologies to boost engagement in their organisations. Together, we will also cover some of the key takeaways from Winningtemp’s academic research partners who have identified which nine engagement factors predict future staff turnover. These have further been split into short-term vs long-term and we can talk through how you can use the latter to conduct a risk analysis and forecast staff attrition by team.
You too will have the opportunity to share how your company is improving employee retention through employee engagement. Please come ready to share + learn + be inspired with like-minded people.
