Description

Cyber crime seems to be everywhere at the moment; with the recent scalp of British Airways, it feels like anyone is a target. But what is cyber crime anyway, and what does it mean to freelancers? Do freelancers and the self-employed need to worry?

In this seminar, Rob Hartley, co-founder of specialist freelancer insurance firm Dinghy, will go through an overview of Cyber crime and what the freelancer can do to prevent it; and also, what they need to do if they get hacked.

----

Rob Hartley is co-founder of Dinghy, who provide freelancer insurance solutions. Rob has over 18 years working in insurance and also a total of 7 years as a freelance web developer, typically done on the side of the insurance income. He has also been an insurance consultant, tech product manager and has now combined all of these skills in an InsurTech start-up. Oh, and he’s a father to two girls!

He has a passion for improving insurance as a social good, and helping freelancers to grow successfully while avoiding the pitfalls of freelancing and working from home.
