How important is Formulation to the Consumer?

Speaker
Millie Kendall MBE
Co-founder, BeautyMART

Synopsis
Millie is not your average entrepreneur, she has dabbled in many careers over the past 35 years. From working as a hairdressing assistant in the US to developing formulas for Shu Uemura, she discovered her passion for creating products.

Millie will discuss how launching new brands through her very own PR & Marketing company helped her to gain vast knowledge on consumer needs and product formulation.

The launch of Ruby & Millie brought the opportunity to co-front her first brand alongside Ruby Hammer. Utilising her consumer expertise Millie was able to develop formulas and packaging for the brand. Creating new opportunities from formulation mistakes and gaining inspiration from new ingredient updates and beauty trends.

Millie will explore visual identity, dispensation, consumer needs, product performance, the internet and beauty trends to confirm ‘How Important is formulation to the consumer?’.
