Innovation is something that every company does, on some scale.
Scottish Enterprise provides specialist advice and some small-scale funding, to companies looking to do things differently – whether that’s a new/improved product, process or service or business model.
This workshop will provide businesses with an overview of this support which includes the important matter of Intellectual Property protection.
Content of the workshop:
What Is Innovation? – debunking the myth that innovation is only about products, is only done by Universities and large companies, and always needs to be blue-sky research and development. The truth is – all companies innovate!
What support is on offer – learn what specialist advice & funding is available to businesses that are looking at introducing new or improved products, processes, services or revenue models.
This will include:

- Information on small-scale funding of up to £5,000 available through Scottish Enterprise which aims at supporting the design, development and internationalisation projects companies are undertaking.
- 1 hour also available for short and sharp initial one-to-one sit down meetings with advisors.
