Description

Do you develop technology for public sector organisations? Do you work in the civil service or in policy development in technology or digital services? Join us at this Bristol Technology Festival event for a first-time gathering of some of the UK's most progressive public sector technology thinkers.

  • How is the public sector using tech to improve the way people consume services?
  • How can tech suppliers and innovators work closer together with health and social care providers, local government, the police, schools and universities?
  • How are policy makers and politicians using technology to make a difference?
  • Where is the budget spend and what part does procurement play?

Join us at this free panel discussion with eleven public policy makers and tech innovators to debate IT's place in the priority stack. Take the opportunity to pose questions to the panel and join them for networking after the debate.

  • Gabriella Cox, open call competition lead, Government Defence and Security Accelerator
  • Gary Davies, head of early intervention and targeted services for children at Bristol City Council
  • Steve Gray, CIO at Bristol University Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Dr Becky Sage, CEO at Interactive Scientific
  • Ben Newby, Chief Customer Officer, Bristol Water
  • Georgina Maratheftis, Head of Local Public Services, TechUK
  • Katherine Ward, COO, Healthy.io
  • Dave Tansley, South West Lead, Public Sector Leadership Team, Deloitte

The Mantis PR panel discussion is open to technology businesses, public sector teams, startups, academics and Bristol Technology Festival goers with an interest in public sector technology. We look forward to seeing you.
