Event description
Using the 2019 UN ICPD Nairobi Summit, we will explore progress in how the world is changing for women and children.

About this event

The 2019 Nairobi Summit marked the 25th anniversary of the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) - how are their proposals actually changing our world?

Subject to this being a face to face meeting, it will include the annual strawberry tea! It is hoped to also make it available via a zoom link.

In recognition of International World Population day (15th September), the author of Children by Choice, Barbara Rogers will address the meeting. We aims to explore the changing approach by the UN to address concerns about the world population size, growth, age structure and development.
