About this event

Discover how Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is reshaping the textile and apparel sector: the impacts it will have, how much it will potentially cost and what steps you can take to get ahead. Explore why high-quality product data is critical to meeting multiple global EPR requirements efficiently.

WEFT will share insights from working with UK brands of all sizes, helping you understand how eco-modulation levers could affect your business, and which policy elements may matter most—in readiness for a UK Government consultation.

WEFT will also reveal consumer perspectives on EPR for textiles, showing whether shoppers are willing to financially contribute to better products, collection and recycling; and how this can unlock competitive advantage and commercial gains for your business.

COMPANY BIO WEFT

WEFT advocates for fair and effective textiles EPR for the fashion and textiles sector. The team works with brands, retailers, and policymakers to demonstrate how variable, eco-modulated fee structures can reward sustainable design choices and fund the infrastructure needed for circularity. Our work turns complex data and evidence into practical, scalable solutions that drive systemic change across the industry.

Kristina Bull

Kristina is Client Engagement Lead at WEFT and a leading voice in circular fashion and sustainability. She managed the EPR Sandbox, an Innovate UK–funded project with brands including Burberry, M&S, and New Look, which analysed over 250 million data points to demonstrate how a variable EPR fee system can drive better design and fund circular infrastructure. With extensive experience across resale, repair, recycling, and data-driven policy, Kristina now leads WEFT’s work expanding the Sandbox internationally and engaging governments on intelligent, fair EPR systems that help businesses thrive while accelerating the shift to a circular fashion economy.
