How patient centricity shapes the future of healthcare in Portugal: Results from CDG & Allies - Professionals and Patient Associations International Network (CDG & Allies- PPAIN) is an open and FREE workshop, which aims to celebrate May 16th as the World Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) Awareness Day by raising awareness and disseminating information and knowledge.
CDG are a group of rare metabolic disorders for which there is no cure. However, the international research network CDG & Allies - Professionals and Patient Associations International Network (CDG & Allies- PPAIN) is developing numerous research projects focused on CDG and based on the needs of CDG patients and families. Some of the results obtained until now (having been launched in January 2016) will be shared during this workshop, in order to highlight the importance of patient centricity in research and healthcare.
This event is open to everyone: Clinicians, researchers, students, healthcare professionals, families and patients.
