How Publishing Works
Overview
WORKSHOP
In this online session Teika will share some of her thoughts on the complex nature of the publishing industry, marketing for authors, some of the biggest mistakes that writers can make, ebook piracy, changes in the industry, and, importantly, what every writer can control. She will offer her expert advice on best routes to take when seeking a publisher, to suit your individual circumstances.
THE TUTOR
Teika is a freelance editor and the author of the short story collections Umbilical (NewCon Press), which was shortlisted for the 2024 Rubery Book Award, and Waterlore (Black Shuck Books), as well as the poetry pamphlet Russian Doll (Indigo Dreams Publishing).
