Event description

Description

As a student or a healthcare professional, do you feel that you often get lost in the patient's history and struggle for differential diagnosis?
This session will aim to educate on how academia and the healthcare industry can combine to translate knowledge from the patient's history into a probable diagnosis using a clinical support tool. This will be an interactive session, looking at medical case studies and solving problems. Attendees will also be able to explore the possible career options in medicine with a Q&A session. Entrance is free, however to be in the chance of winning a stethoscope from a random draw, raffle tickets can be purchased at 1zl each. Light refreshments will be provided.

Our speaker Tessa Davis is a paediatrician specilaising in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She creates and delivers online learning resources for healthcare professionals. Tessa is passionate about the use of social network and technology to improve patient care. She is a media communicator for child health issues and speaks about paediatrics and technology at conferences all over the world. Tessa is currently working in London. In 2015 Tessa won the NSW Minister for Health Registrar or the Year Award.
