Event Details

Join us at London's best Startup Accelerator Space, Wayra for a lively TED style talk on how technology is transforming the way students & educators engage in the classroom; and why teachers are more important than ever in helping students build the graduate skills that employers are asking for.

Firstly, Alan Greenberg, former Head of Education at Apple, will speak about how and why technology has had such a powerful impact within education. He'll also share his thoughts about what technology has in store for educators over the next 5 years and how teachers, tutors and professors can lead the change.

Then hear from Dr. Norbert Morawetz, from Henley Business School and Team-Match about how he used technology to bring occupational psychology into the classroom and help students create and build better teams that replicate collaboration in the real world. We'll share the results from 6500+ students who used his website to enhance their skills, where 93% of students saw development in their teamwork skills, 87% felt growth in their employability and 84% of students expanded their learning network.

We will also be joined by guest speakers, including Matthew Gardiner, EdTech Advocate & CEO of Catch London, LCC Lecturer

Drinks & Networking: Then stick around for some post-talk drinks and networking.

Who is this event for: Educators who have an impact on students, graduates or alumni. So if you are a head of school, teacher, tutor, professor or part of HR, ITC or personal, responsible for teacher development or technology, places will be reserved for you.
