In the jovial company of historian Steve Grindlay this is a fun and interesting insightful tour of the fascinating neighbourhoods of Crystal Palace, Sydenham and Forest Hill. Come and find out how Victorian & Twentieth Century global influences created one of the most cosmopolitan, intellectual and artistic communities in London.

The two hour walking tour includes:

  • The amazing legacy of the Crystal Palace

  • Sir Frederick Horniman & the history of the Horniman Museum

  • Jewish, German & Post-War settlements

  • The establishment of the Tea Trade & its Influence far & wide
