About this event

Other

A live grief talk and Q&A by a bereavement support professional from grief charity Winston’s Wish about how young people can access grief support. For young people aged 13-25. This is a chance to hear directly from a bereavement support worker, ask questions and hear what other young people would like to know about grief support.

Is there someone I can talk to about my grief who understands what I'm going through? I don't want to sit in a room with a stranger and talk, what other options for bereavement support are there? Can I get help even though my person died a long time ago? Get answers to your questions about getting grief support from Winston's Wish.

Held online via Zoom and not recorded, this is a safe space for grieving young people led by bereavement support professionals. All attendee cameras and mics will be turned off throughout. You can ask questions in the chat.

Whilst these sessions are confidential, which means that we will not share anything you tell us with anyone else, there are limitations. If you share something with us that makes us concerned about the safety of you, or someone else, we may have to pass this onto organisations outside of Winston's Wish. We will always try to talk to you about this first, if this is the case.

If you need crisis support, please reach out to your local emergency services (in the UK, this is 999).
