Event Details

As part of Heritage Open Days Unsung Stories project, come and hear from award winning activist and founder of the global Craftivist Collective Sarah Corbett in conversation at People’s History Museum.

What does the future of protest look like in our ever changing world and what can we learn from changemakers of the past to inspire and empower us to become changemakers of the future?  Does protest always have to be fast, loud and with lots of people or can it be slow, quiet and small?

Inspired by PHM’s collection, Sarah will be talking about changemakers from the past who have shaped our present day and her unique ‘gentle protest’ methodology that has helped to change laws and business policies, as well as hearts and minds around the world.

Made possible by support from players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

Suitable for 16+
This event will be BSL interpreted
