This online event - and others hosted by the Life Changes Trust during Dementia Activism Week - provides the opportunity to share learning from Loud and Clear (which charts 20 years of activism of people with dementia in Scotland), with as wide an audience as possible. This recognises the important contributions made by people with dementia and also those who support them.

We also want to take this opportunity to shine a light on the great work that has been done in the past and is currently being done by people with dementia who are activists, campaigners or who see themselves making change happen, and what the future looks like for activism. This might be nationally, regionally, locally or with family and friends.

We want to encourage as many people to get alongside and support Dementia Activism Week including people with dementia, unpaid carers, supporters and stakeholders.

In this event, we will show a film of three people who are living with dementia in Scotland, in discussion about 'How To Be A Good Ally to Activists'. They will then take questions from participants on what this looks like in practice. This event will take place on Zoom.
