Impostor Syndrome is when someone doubts their accomplishments and has a persistent internalised fear of being exposed as 'a fraud'. As quoted in Forbes magazine "Although both genders experience impostor syndrome, women are more susceptible to it and more intensely affected by it."People with impostor syndrome feel that luck rather than ability lies behind their successes, and dread that sooner or later some person or event will expose them for the fraud that deep down they believe themselves to be.
