How to Build a Library in a Modern Home with Everyman's Library
Thu 3 November 2016, 18:30 – 20:00 GMT
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, hardback publisher Everyman’s Library has teamed up with Heal’s, asking how to create and look after a library in a spatially-challenged, 21st century home.
Now they want to know what a home library means to you. To some it’s a curated shelf of five favourite books. To others, a room containing 100 of the world’s greatest classics.
Join a panel of specialists in Heal’s flagship store as they discuss what constitutes a library, how to pick your top books, where to store them and, the ultimate question: what makes a classic?
Min Hogg, Founding Editor of World of Interiors magazine, will be chairing the panel discussion alongside literary salonista Helen Brocklebank, bibliotherapist Ella Berthoud and Heal’s own Product & Design Manager, Kirsty Whyte.
Ticket price includes a goody bag.
