With a little guidance from us, and a spot of inspiration from you, we can make sure your key messages are more likely to be heard, seen and acted on.

By the end of the day you’ll be buzzing with ideas and inspiration.

In response to feedback, this popular workshop has been expanded to a full day, allowing for more detail, exercises and team working.

We welcome anyone who has attended any previous half-day workshops.

This is a ‘hands-on’ creative workshop, so please be prepared to try things out with others and to be an active participant. You may have to step out of your comfort zone, but it will be worth it!

Your facilitator:

Your session will be run by Andy Archer, creative adviser at Iriss, and creative advertising lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University.

Andy has over thirty years experience working as a creative in leading ad agencies, coming up with ideas for high-profile brands such as Heinz, IRN-BRU, Walker’s Snacks, ScottishPower, Bank of Scotland, Standard Life, The Herald and The Scotsman.

Andy has also created many public awareness campaigns for The Scottish Government, including Alcohol Awareness, Act Against Harm and Forced Marriage.

To help your communications really stand out, Andy will be sharing many of the tips and tricks he has learnt from the advertising world.

The workshop will start at 10.15, with a break for lunch at 1.00.

Please bring your own lunch, or pick up something from a nearby cafe or shop.

The workshop will restart at 2.00, and finish at 4.30.

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day.
