Seven years ago, Charlotte Parton, founder of The Sustainable Garden, created a beautiful wildflower meadow around a wildlife pond in her garden, both from scratch.
Learn how the meadow and pond were created, how they have helped boost biodiversity and have become abundant habitats for a whole manner of wildlife. Then enjoy a rare opportunity to accompany renowned ecologist John Walters on a mini beast hunt around Charlotte’s meadows and orchard. John is a Dartmoor-based ecologist, a regular speaker for the Wildlife Trusts and Natural History Society, author of The Wildlife of Dartmoor and The Minibeast Guide and has featured in many BBC wildlife programmes.
Join us for this is a half day workshop taking place outside on Saturday 22nd June 2024 (choice of morning or afternoon). Each session is designed so that you will spend an equal amount of time with both Charlotte and John.
