About this event

How is the solution-focused approach useful in working with families, and what in particular can it contribute? All too often when social workers meet the families, we meet a kind of resistance, restraint, which makes cooperation difficult. The parents may not agree with the concerns that are for the child or have specific ideas on how the child should get better. In this sometimes short very first meeting it's crucial to get a good contact and create motivation for a collaborative change process, - and this can be quite a challenge with several people present.

In this workshop you will get to know the solutions focused approach a bit more, and you'll leave with concrete tools to implement in your daily practice. The workshop is an interaction between presentation, exercises and filmclips in order to demonstrate and try out SF practice.
