I usually begin every workshop by saying "I am not a LinkedIn Trainer ... I'm just damn good at using it to find clients for my sales training services. So good in fact some of my friends and networking colleagues asked me to show them how I use LinkedIn to build my business"

Towards the end of 2019 I came to realise everything I ever learned about LinkedIn from so called experts was wrong ... what I had been taught wasn't working for me (or as I soon found out for a lot of my friends) and the time and effort I was investing in using the platform was wasted.

I was on LinkedIn for an hour a day (sometimes more) and from that investment I was only getting one or two phone calls a month ... an awful ROI any way you look at it.

So I started again ... making some really important changes to my LinkedIn profile, developing a process that made sense and could be followed each & every time I was on LinkedIn and then creating a prospecting and posting system to help market my services to both my existing connections and the new ones at the same time.

The results were awesome.

Within about three months I had a full diary ... for the first time ever I was in a position of having to turn business away and/or refer potential clients to other people.

It was around about this time my friends and networking colleagues started to ask for help and then a couple of them suggested I write and deliver LinkedIn training workshops to show others what I was doing so successfully.
