Description

Nicholas Juett is an artist of international repute and one of our local residents in Chesterton. Much of his early career was spent in the USA. but he was born in Cambridge and used Milton Road Library extensively as a child. We are extraordinarily lucky that he agreed to produce a painting as a memory of our much-loved library, now demolished, for hanging in the new building now being opened.

Nicholas will be providing a talk on his art, and in particular on the ideas, origins, and development of the painting now hanging in the new library. An extensive review of his work can be found at http://www.williamsart.co.uk/Williams_Art/Nicholas_Juett.html
