Discover what it takes to be an international cheese expert with food writer and World Cheese Awards judge Patrick McGuigan at the London Cheese Project - a new two-day festival of fromage at Camden Market celebrating the city's urban cheesemakers and street food melt masters.
Patrick will explain how to fully appreciate the finer points of cheese using all your senses (even your hearing!) in a fun and informal expert tasting with guests learning how to assess complex flavours and textures and spot common faults. We will also explore unusual drinks matches, from beer to vodka.
Expect an hour of unabashed curd nerdery.
*Please note, this event is for over-18s only and some of the cheeses will be made with non-vegetarian rennet and raw milk. A minimum of five cheeses and three drinks will be tasted.
