How to Engage Millennials and Generation Z?
A c.90 minute interactive session examining the impact of the expectations of younger generations of employees on the workplace. Input of research findings and group working activities addressing how employers can best engage this key population.
Most workplaces now have three or even four generations working within them. Millennials, and their successors, Generation Z, are said to have significantly different expectations from their predecessors, creating a challenge to employers seeking to attract and retain their services.
In this session Liz Pollard examines the research and explores how employers can best seek to engage a generation for whom the usual ‘glittering prizes’ of good benefits and steady development appear to hold little appeal, and whose requirements of their workplace seem to be very different from those of their predecessors.
Speaker: Liz Pollard works with Dale Carnegie UK and is an expert in people and team development. Liz specialises in helping leaders to engage with, develop and retain their most valuable asset - their talented people. Liz works with organisations to become better at managing change, and to motivate their employees to engage positively with change processes.
