Description

MARTIN POLLECOFF, CHAIR OF THE UKCP, IN CONVERSATION WITH PROFESSOR BRETT KAHR

Martin Pollecoff will speak to Brett Kahr about his distinguished, forty-year career, and discover how we as practitioners can move beyond surviving to a state of thriving in this challenging profession.

They will discuss:

  • why so many psychotherapists do not embrace their full creativity and often lead unnecessarily isolated professional lives.

  • how we can enhance our clinical practice as well as our capacity for leadership, whether organisationally, as theoreticians, or as a teachers, writers, and broadcasters.

  • the importance of embracing not only a solid, traditional professional foundation but, also, a “maverick” identity, which allows the practitioner to succeed more authentically.

Professor Sarah Niblock, Chief Executive Officer, UKCP will introduce and chair this not-to-be-missed event.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions and Professor Brett Kahr’s best-selling book, How to Flourish as a Psychotherapist, will be available for purchase at the event.
