Description

Join us for an informal evening of education and networking hosted in partnership with Edge Investments. Our panel of investors will be discussing which funding options are right for your start up. Gain first hand advice from investors about what they are looking for, what their expectations are and what makes certain start-ups stand out from the crowd. During the discussion we will dive deeper into VC funding, Angel Investment and Crowdfunding, to explore the options that are available to you.

Joining us on our panel will be...

Representing Angel Investors, we have Rani Saad. Rani has built and invested in new ventures in the UK, US and elsewhere for over 20 years. Rani also serves as a judge in Stanford’s Ignite program for innovation and entrepreneurship, and advises startups, funds and organisations (which have included the World Bank) on early-stage innovation.

Rani has co-founded or co-built four technology startups in Silicon Valley, London and Los Angeles, in addition to a $120M emerging-markets VC fund. He also launched new products globally and directed innovation acceleration (in over 70 countries) at Microsoft, launched cutting-edge fintech platforms at the Fortune 500 bank Capital One, and led venture formation at a leading behavioral economics entity affiliated with Harvard, MIT and Princeton.
