Event description

Description

Joining us all the way from Australia we are excited to announce this informal talk with Julia Bickerstaff, founder of The Business Bakery. Julia's 100 Day Goal programme is an international internet sensation, with over 120,000 people completing their task using the free resources! The Business Bakery is all about helping you make a Healthy Income from your handmade, boutique or intentionally-small business.

Julia will talk briefly about her story and how The Business Bakery came about. The details behind the 100 Day Goal, some success stories and her top tips for your home made business. The event will include a cuppa and cake on arrival. This talk is ideally timed for you to embark on your 100 Day Goal as Julia launches a new campaign on 1st January 2018.

At the heart of The Business Bakery is the idea that doing something you love doesn't mean you shouldn't be making a profit too. It's all about a healthy income.

''A Healthy Income - It’s not talked about much and you could think you’re the only one. But no, you’re not. The truth is that most handmade and boutique-y business owners work very long hours to earn, well, not a lot. And when you do the maths, it gets worse. Many of you actually earn less per hour than the minimum wage. That’s just so wrong. The thing is it doesn’t have to be. YOU can earn a Healthy Income from your business. And we’re going to show you how….''
