About the Course Leaders

Thom Gibbons

Although he barely looks old enough, Thom has over 20 years sales experience in a variety of industries such as high street retail, financial services, prestige automotive, executive recruitment and for the past 6 years the technology and telecommunications sector. He has knocked on doors on business parks, made cold telesales calls, been on crazy test drives, booked face to face appointments, built strong professional networks, sold products online and survived it all so there is nothing to be afraid of. Thom believes that this series of workshops will pass on some of those experiences making it easier for you and all in line with his mantra. “Don’t sell. Say Hello. Make friends. Have fun. Work will come.”

Joanne McGowan

GuildfordHub 37SCREEN

As owner of the Guildford Business Hub, Joanne sees first hand how lack of confidence with sales can hold people back.  Joanne believes this course will help people get over their “sales block” and show that it is building relationships both on and offline that can make the sales process an enjoyable experience.
