About the Course Leaders
Although he barely looks old enough, Thom has over 20 years sales experience in a variety of industries such as high street retail, financial services, prestige automotive, executive recruitment and for the past 6 years the technology and telecommunications sector. He has knocked on doors on business parks, made cold telesales calls, been on crazy test drives, booked face to face appointments, built strong professional networks, sold products online and survived it all so there is nothing to be afraid of. Thom believes that this series of workshops will pass on some of those experiences making it easier for you and all in line with his mantra. “Don’t sell. Say Hello. Make friends. Have fun. Work will come.”
As the brains and beauty of this course, Joanne has 20 years experience of running small businesses and in training people to do the same. She has always embraced online communication and content marketing as a way to attract customers and keep them coming back for more, and wants this course to show people the value of this technique and how it doesn’t have to be too time intensive. As owner of the Guildford Business Hub, Joanne sees first hand how lack of confidence with sales can hold people back.
