Calling all budding authors! Come along for an exclusive evening of literary fun in a stunning location, in partnership with reading community Bookends and Marie Claire magazine.
Rooftop evening drinks and four of the hottest authors around? Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?
Join Sunday Times bestseller Tasmina Perry, Mike Gayle, Kathryn Hughes and Tracy Rees on Tuesday, 11 October 2016 to hear how they made their dreams a reality. You’ll also get to meet four editors from Headline Publishing, Hodder & Stoughton and Quercus, three divisions of Hachette UK – the second largest publishing group in the UK.
There’ll be a quick-fire panel with the authors plus a top agent’s tips for finding your own agent before a one-hour workshop in smaller groups, each hosted by an editor and author.
As well as wine, soft drinks and nibbles on the night, you’ll get to take home a goodie bag containing the latest novel from each of the featured authors – The House On Sunset Lake by Tasmina Perry, Florence Grace by Tracy Rees, The Secret by Kathryn Hughes and The Hope Family Calendar by Mike Gayle – plus other Bookends treats. You’ll rub shoulders with the Marie Claire team and even be able to meet the authors after the workshop and get your new books signed.
This is a unique chance to spend the evening with four successful authors, plus four editors and a literary agent in a luxury spot overlooking the River Thames!
Please arrive from 6pm for a prompt 6:30pm start.
