We are proud to announce that Michael Turner QC (Garden Court Chambers), Chairman of the Criminal Bar Association, and Imran Khan (Partner, Imran Khan & Partners) will now be speaking at this event.
The aim of this seminar is to provide those considering a career at the Bar with a unique insight into both the application and interview process. Further, by ensuring that the speakers at the seminar are individuals with relevant and recent experience of the process, this intensive one day course is intended to assist participants in maximising their chances of securing pupillage in a highly competitive market.
Due to sponsorship being withdrawn at the last minute, this was originally a paid for event. Having secured sponsorship from City Law Chambers Solicitors and Ahmed & Co. Solicitors, this event is now free.
Ultimately, it is our aim to establish an annual scholarship for a student to assist in paying fees for entry into the professions. In common with our sponsors, we are committed to ensuring equality and diversity in the legal profession.
Finally, we would encourage more members of the Bar to come forward and participate in giving free invaluable advice at this event, as those who had committed to this project from the otuset were happy to do.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THOSE THAT HAVE PAID THE FULL PRICE WILL BE REFUNDED DURING REGISTRATION.
