Run by broadcaster and author Helen Croydon and Nine Media co-founder Karen Attwood this broadcast breakfast briefing will leave your delegates confident to pitch to broadcasters, prepare themselves or their client's spokespeople for camera and know how to deal with a crisis on air.
Broadcast Secrets will reveal what happens inside a broadcast newsroom, when and how they choose their stories and how to build your contacts in the industry. You will get an insight into the main platforms of broadcast including radio news, flagship TV news bulletins, topical magazine shows and rolling news channels and how to tailor your story pitch for each one.
Becoming a Pundit will give you the tools to build your client's profile as a media commentator. Whether it’s a one-off media campaign, or they want to become a regular pundit we will reveal the tools to reaching producers and recognizing media opportunities.
Live on Air is full of tips on how to perform well on air and get you or your spokespeople camera ready. We cover interview preparation, getting out of awkward questions and how to handle a crisis interview.
By the end of the session you will know how the main players in the broadcast media plan and get their stories. You will have the tools to pitch your story to the right people at the right time and know the tricks to getting your client on air and getting asked back.

By rail: London Bridge rail station is a 10 minute walk
By bus: Numbers 381 and RV1 stop along Southwark Street – get out at stop SW, just before Great Guildford Street. The 344 goes down Southwark Bridge Road – get off at stop BJ just after the crossroads of Southwark Street and Southwark Bridge Road.

What is the refund policy?
:: If cancellation occurs eight days or more prior to the reserved course, then you are entitled to the following: (I) To send another delegate from the same company to attend the reserved course; or (II) To select an alternative Nine Media Training & Consultancy course to be attended by you; or (III) A refund minus £25 administration fee.
:: If cancellation occurs within seven days of the reserved course, then no refund will be made, Selection of another delegate from the same company to attend the reserved course is still possible.
