How to help teenagers prepare for exams: a workshop for parents
Mon 14 November 2016, 20:00 – 21:45 GMT
Exams are looming .... but do your teenage children know HOW to revise?
Learning how to revise not only boosts academic performance; it also builds personal confidence and motivation.
Juliet Landau-Pope is an Oxford-educated lecturer, certified coach and professional organiser with several years' experience of teaching study skills. Join her on Mon 14 November at 8pm to discuss how parents can help teenagers to prepare for school or public exams. Issues include how to:
- Plan a revision schedule
- Overcome procrastination and perfectionism
- Boost memory skills and concentration
- Manage distractions
- Reduce stress before, during and after exams
The workshop starts at 20.00 and ends at 21.45 but you're welcome to stay later for a drink/chat.
Places limited and likely to sell out so please book early. Tickets cost £20. Sorry, no refunds.
*** For teenagers, Juliet offers also individual coaching and runs study skills workshops ****
